Who am I?

About Me

Hey there! I am Hemraj. My family and close friends prefer “Raj” or “Sanju” (which I personally like!). An ardent Christian (Roman catholic) who loves making friends and socializing .

I confidently regard myself as being humble, soft-spoken and determined person. My friends say that I am very organized (I would literally plan out a Gantt chart with you to organize a social get-together with friends), committed (you might see me knocked down multiple times, but you will never see me quit), hard-working (I live by the mantra – read, learn and apply) and down-to-earth (simple things in life make me extremely happy and content).

A FEATHER IN MY CAP

Traveled 7 countries, can speak and understand 4 languages and worked in 3 multi-national companies.

Currently based in one of the beautiful windy city of New Zealand, Wellington, I have exhaustively worked in a customer-oriented environment and have extensive experience to work alongside multiple vendors, stakeholders and cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

In the span of 12 years, I had the privilege to work with the best (in IBM, Dell, Cognizant, UBS) and learn from the best (IT Security managers, Service Leads, Service Managers, Consultants and Trainers from the above multi-national companies).

I feel proud of achieving my long-time dream to finish my Masters (Master’s in information management from Victoria University of Wellington).  I feel honored of my core Alma mater – National Institute of Technology, India (The QS World University Rankings ranks it 211 in Asia, 126 among BRICS nations and 29 in India in the 2019) and Mount Assisi School (India).

MY INTERESTS

I believe in “The more you sweat in peace…..the less you bleed in war”.

I am always passionate about learning new technologies. At times, I like exploring Data Analytics and Data visualization.

If you are hanging out with me, your taste buds will never be disappointed since I am an excellent cook. In my free time, I like to volunteer for the community (Heart foundation and Enliven – Home for Old age). Stroll along the beach is an immense booster for me.

When stressed I like to pump up the volume and listen to fast-track music. You cannot beat my playlist, as it can crazily range from English Pop, Blues, Country, Bollywood to Arabic, Afro music, K Pop, Latin pop, Indo-pop, Nhạc Pop Việt Nam C Pop, C-Pop and P Pop/ OPM (Original Pilipino Music). If still overtaxed, you will see me submerged into  Forensic files documentaries or K-movies (I can watch “Montage”, “Mother”, “Seven Days”,  “Train to Busan”, “The Wailing” over and over again and never get bored)/drama.

Pursuit of Happiness” tops my favorite movie chart in inspirational genre.
